Being in Barkley for the entire fifteen years of her life, Aeryn knew the way around town with her eyes closed. Put a blindfold on her and she'll find exactly where she needs to go within one swing at the pinata. When it came to getting what she wants, Aeryn made sure to get up off of her ass and go after it. She was the type of girl who didn't procrastinate and was determined to do whatever it takes to get what she wanted; and this time, she wanted that hat from Javier. Maybe she wanted a little more than just the hat, but Aeryn was the type to get close to a guy and then leave. She would find a guy she likes, tempt him into doing things with her, and right as about things would happen, Aeryn would walk away. Sure, there might have been a guy or two who were exceptions to this behavior of hers, but Javier didn't seem like one of those guys.
She had been chatting with a couple people from Barkley, one of which happened to be her twin sister, before settling on asking Javier to work on fixing up her dirtbike. She didn't know what the problem with it was exactly, but Aeryn was using the dirtbike as an excuse to hang out with him. She couldn't drive just yet, let alone have her own vehicle, but after receiving a text from her cousin just a moment ago, Aeryn asked him whether she could catch a ride from him. Luckily he had a pickup truck where she was able to put her dirtbike in the back of before they headed over to find Javier's garage. She had gotten the address from him prior to leaving the chat, and now she was just unloading the dirtbike from the truck and watching her cousin drive away to visit some girl. She then pushed the dirtbike closer to the garage to find Javier.
The garage seemed to be opened, revealing mechanical stuff that Aeryn had absolutely no clue how things operated. She wasn't the type to know which wrench was which, let alone what kind of parts would go wherever on a bike. Aeryn mostly stuck to doing things like gymnastics, horseback riding, and cheerleading... she'll even go shopping, hanging out, do Sudoku puzzles for fun, etc. Mechanic stuff were left alone for boys to do. Setting her dirtbike aside by the garage, Aeryn headed up inside to find Javier. "Javierrr!" she called out for him, hoping he wasn't going to pop up out of nowhere and scare her. Aeryn didn't like surprises. "It's Aeryn! Y'know, the girl with the dirtbike that needs fixing... and the one who's going to take your hat before I leave... and convince you to let me know where I can find that dealer," she added.

Javier had been working on cars all day in his home made garage that was located right behind his small house that he had bought with some money from drug dealing a while back. He wasn't proud of it but it gave him what he had needed to start off this small business he had going. When he wasn't fixing cars, he was usually doing something else to occupy his mind like going on a chat for Barkley students but Javier had graduated from Barkley so he found it his right to go online. Anyways, he had met this girl named Aeryn who seemed to already be interested in his younger brother but needed help with her dirt bike. Javier would help her for most likely no cost at all besides he probably wouldn't be too much help because he fixed cars more than anything. Once or twice, he had messed with a dirt bike but he had never fully fixed one before. He was hoping he would do enough to please her, at least and keep her away from his hat. She had been obsessing with his hat ever since being on that chat and now he was contemplating taking it off and locking it up somewhere safe. But, Javier had decided he was going to wear it and make her angry that she didn't have it. But, she was a pretty determined person and he was kind of intimated, to be honest.
Javier was working on a fellow graduate's car and was almost finish when he heard a truck pull up to his house and he looked out of his garage to see Aeryn. He bit down on his lower lip and touched his hat, gently, almost convincing himself to take it off. He shook his head before putting away the tools that he had been using to fix his friend's car and walked toward the back of the garage, heading around the garage to greet her but seeing that the truck had took off and Aeryn was nowhere to be found. He looked around but was unsuccessful in her finding her. Javier sighed, loudly before turning around to head to the front of his garage and he had finally found her. She was calling for him and it made him laugh as he shook his head. What was she doing here, Javier wondered as he shifted his weight before walking up behind and slowly gliding his finger across her cheek, leaving a stain of grease. “Hello, Aeryn, the girl with the dirt bike and the one that is going to 'try' and take my hat and the girl who is looking for weed.” He greeted her, sarcastically before taking his finger from her cheek and taking her dirt bike from her hands. Javier looked back at her as he began to push it into his garage with a flirtatious, playful smile as he pulled it up to an open spot, taking a good look at it.
“Does it not start or something?” Javier leaned back against the counters, surrounding his garage that held his tools on it. “The fact that you even ride these things is a surprise to me.” He looked toward her again and couldn't help but laugh at the grease stain on her cheek. “That's... cute.” Javier was a flirt, just like his younger brother, Rico but not as extreme and definitely knew his limits when it came to girls. Besides, Javier wasn't interested in Aeryn like that but he did find her cute but far too young for him. She did have a good way with her words, though, he could give her that but only that. Javier scratched his upper arm, leaving new streaks of grease on his already stained arm. “I just wanted to let you know this will be free of charge. I'm pretty nice like that.” Maybe that would convince her to not try and take his hat.

The more she walked closer towards the garage, the more Aeryn got a creepy feeling that some horror monster would appear out of nowhere and attack her with the mechanical tools. Having watched a scary movie the previous night didn't help her imagination at the moment. Although, she was so focused in the thought of horror that she suddenly jumped a little when Javier streaked a grease mark on her cheek out of nowhere. "Hey!" she put her hands on her hips as she spoke to him. Pursing her lips, she brought in her eyebrows to give him an expression that said 'That was not cool!' "I thought boys were supposed to be the dirty ones while girls stand back and look cute. This grease crap isn't attractive on a girl, y'know..."
She watched as he walked her dirtbike into the garage, standing there for a moment before following him inside, and stood beside her dirtbike. He had questioned whether it would start or not. "Well... it starts, but it kind of sputters and then it turns back off," she answered him seriously before she smiled. "I've loved dirtbikes for ages. I dunno why, but I always wanted to be different from most girls. While they're out having sleepovers and talking about boys, I would rather spend my life doing exciting stuff. I think I'm crazy." Crossing her arms, Aeryn looked to see if he had anything to sit on, knowing she might probably be here for a while, before her eyes settled back on him. He had looked at her face where the grease stain remained, commenting on its cuteness.
"Why would you think it's cute? I think it's dirty. I hope it'll wash off easily," Aeryn added. She had then realized how different she was acting compared to her usual self in the school's chat. Aeryn flirted around the best that she could so her self esteem would be high, but it didn't make up for what she's been through before in her life. It was a hard job having to try and act willing for getting into a guy's pants, as much as she would rather stick to cuddling. "So, uhm... I see that my hat looks adorable on you. I'm considering of letting you keep it," she smirked. "The hat could be my payment to you for fixing my dirtbike... but if you can't get it to start on me, then I guess I'm just gonna have to take that hat back. So, you better know what you're doing. Don't ruin it!"

Javier leaned back a little, looking over the entire bike, wondering what could possibly be wrong with it. He wasn’t a magic man with bikes like he was with cars. He crossed his arms over his chest and laughed at her, shaking his head. “Girls can be dirty too besides… I like dirty girls.” Javier murmured, not being able to hold back a smile at how cute she was in person. It was odd but she was definitely something different and Javier could already tell. He grabbed a wooden stool and brought it over, letting her have it before grabbing a metal one and sitting on it himself, looking at the dirt bike, listening to her. “Well, that’s good. But, they way you seem on the chat, you seem interested in boys just like other girls.” He raised his eyebrows, looking at her with a smug look yet a smile on his face, as well. He shoved his hands into his pockets and sighed, wondering what he was going to tell her about the dirt bike.
“Well, I’m not that good at bikes but I think I already told you that but give me tonight and tomorrow morning and it should be fixed.” Javier planned on staying up later tonight to fix the bike for her. She seemed really into it and he could understand how bad she probably wanted to ride it once it was fixed so he would do his best to fix it as fast as possible. He was surprised at himself for not charging her and the fact that he was going to try extra hard to fix it for her. She owed him big time! Javier laughed at the thought as he glanced over to Aeryn and nodded his head. “It’ll come off, just use soap when you take a shower tonight.” He told her but then gave her a smirk, “Or, you can just stay a dirty girl and skip the shower.” He laughed, getting off the stool and looking around, not planning on working on it while she was here. Javier didn’t want her standing over him because it caused him to get frustrated, feel rushed and he just couldn’t work with someone on his back. He was sure she wasn’t the type of person to be like that, though.
Javier shook his head and took off the hat, revealing his thick curls that made him look a lot older than what he was. He needed a hair cut to most people and he hoped Aeryn wouldn’t cringe at his true look. Javier usually wore the hat to cover his hair that most people despised. He needed a fresh cut on his face and a good clean haircut. Javier was a very attractive person but most people didn’t look hard enough when distracted by his facial hair and thick locks. “Here.” He threw it to her, giving her a wink. “You can have it. Um, you convinced me already.” Javier blushed, feeling a weird feeling in his stomach as he gave over his favorite hat. He had told her so many times in the chat that she would never have it but now he was just handing it over. That right there was a clue to Javier that this girl had something different about her. It wasn’t because she rode dirt bikes that she was different from other girls.
