Chorus: I want someone to love me For who I am. I want someone to need me. Is that so bad? I want someone to love me For who I am.
Verse 1: Nothing makes sense. Nothing makes sense anymore. Nothing is right. Nothing is right when you're gone. Losing my breath. Losing my right to be wrong. I'm frightened to death. I'm frightened that I won't be strong.
Chorus: I want someone to love me For who I am. I want someone to need me. Is that so bad? I wanna break all the madness But it's all I have. I want someone to love me For who I am.
Verse 2: I'm shaking it off. I'm shaking off all of the pain. You're breaking my heart Breaking my heart once again.
Chorus: I want someone to love me For who I am. I want someone to need me. Is that so bad? I wanna break all the madness But it's all I have. I want someone to love me For who I am.
Bridge: Are you gonna love me (yeah) For who I am?
Chorus: I want someone to love me For who I am. I want someone to need me. Is that so bad? I wanna break all the madness But it's all I have. I want someone to love me For who I am. (yeah) Who I am.
When it came to singing in public, Sean still had some trouble with that. He was getting better and better with his stage fright, but for now when he could, he still liked to sing alone. Lately he had been writing a new song, titled Who I Am. He was still working on it, but it was pretty much done. All he had to do was just mess with the guitar chords and make it sound perfect with the lyrics, or the other way around. He wasn't really writing the song for anyone special, or for any occasion, he was just inspired after his day at the beach with Tori. He kind of wanted the 'somebody' in the song to be her, but he wasn't really writing the song for her.
Sean sat there getting a bit frustrated as he hit the wrong chords. He was still new to playing the guitar, he was more into piano, something he had played since he was a kid. His mother made him, but now as he got older and began getting more and more involved in a singing career he wanted to learn something new, like the guitar. He was also learning how to play the drums, but guitar was the worst for him, so he new he needed the practice. Which was why he was writing the song with the guitar.
Sean wanted to be alone for a bit writing the song, he didn't usually like having an audience, but if it was necessary, then he would only sing if the song was finished, not just something he was working. And he wasn't exactly expecting anyone to come visit the stage at that time anyway so he decided he would continue practicing.

people change and promises are broken clouds can move and skies will be wide open Jamie wandered around the unfamiliar, twisting and turning halls of the new highschool she had just started attending; Barkley Academy. She had a free period and was looking around for the student lounge so she could do some extra studying before her next class; Science. She was new to this school, and had abselutely no idea where she was going. The principal had handed her various different maps of the campus around the highschool, but not the highschool itself. She stared at the map, "Useless..." she mumbled under her breath right before stuffing it in a garbage can she was passing by.
And Jamie passed through the halls when something caught her attention; a soft tune drifting out from The Stage area, into her ears. It made her start to hum. The beautiful song made her curious as to who was singing it. She slipped in through the open stage door and sat in one of the seats in the shadows, so she wouldn't be seen. Not like she was spying, just, she didn't want him to stop singing. She saw him now, he had big curly bushy hair, a guitar in hand and sheet music on his lap. She smiled and brushed a piece of hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear.
Jamie crossed one leg over another as she got comfortable, she noticed the mystery boy started to get frustrated, she guessed because he was getting some of the chords wrong. She stood up, "Nice song." She nodded her head towards him, his guitar and sheets. Jamie wrote songs, and played guitar, so, maybe she could help him out. Her heels hit the floor with a click sound. She rubbed her hands on her thighs as she approached the stage. "I'm Jamie." TAGGED ! seannn.LYRICS ! song - artistWORDS ! three zero oneOUTFIT ! ohyeah.CREDIT ! Sean continued singing and playing his guitar, not knowing that anyone was in the room watching him. If he knew that Jamie was sitting only feet away from him he would have stopped. She was lucky that he couldn't see her in the dark. Plus, he wouldn't want to be embarrassing himself since he didn't really know all the chords to the song yet. Sean took his pencil out of his ear and crossed something out of his sheet music, he wrote something else in and begin playing again. Finally he got something that sounded good. He smiled at his first success with the guitar.
Sean continued to mess around with the chords trying to make it sound right, but that one success didn't help the rest of the song, because he was still struggling. He sighed and stopped playing for a minuted and looked out at the seats that were there in front of him. Sean had sung in front of a lot of people, but never in front of his school. He didn't even think half of his school knew about his singing career, which he didn't really have yet. He had recorded a few demos, but he still hadn't landed a record deal. He had only been looking for a few months though, so he assumed that it could happen.
After a few seconds of staring into the empty room, Sean realized it wasn't so empty. Some girl had been watching him. He wondered how long she had been in there. Had she heard him messing up? He sighed a bit nervous. "Thanks," he said putting his guitar down next to him. He wasn't going to continue his practice with her there. "I'm Sean," he replied with no smile. He was a bit mad that she had just randomly showed up, but he wasn't about to be mean to the girl. Sean didn't recognize her, which meant she was probably new, which meant she didn't know him or his quiet and shyness.

people change and promises are broken clouds can move and skies will be wide open Jamie nodded, as if saying "No problem." Something about Sean's name and appearance triggered something in her memory, like they had already met before. She simply smiled sweetly until she could remember where she had seen him before. "Oh, hey! You're that cute guy from the chat! " Her eyes widened, and she let out a nervous laugh. " I mean, guy. Just guy." She crossed her legs almost like she had to go to the washroom, but she didn't. She was just awkward, since she had slipped and called a guy that she had just met cute. Jamie made an attempt to change the subject as quickly as she could. " So! Looks like your having some trouble with your guitar? I could give you a hand?" She pulled her fingers through her hair, while waiting for a response, hoping the response wouldn't be to her earlier comment about him being cute. Atleast she spoke the truth. He was cute, but she had just met him, in real life atleast. Her eyes darted from him, to his guitar, it was a nice guitar, she would give him that.[/blockquote] TAGGED ! Sean looked at her and listened to her excitement. He gave a small smile feeling a bit better that he kind of already met her, at least virtually. He chuckled, "what can I say, I am pretty cute," he said sarcastically. He gave her a small smile hoping she new that it was okay that she said that. Everyone has there moment. He thought about Tori, and what happens the other day. His smile grow wider as he thought about that. Now that Sean new that she wasn't a total stranger, he didn't mind so much that she had heard him play.
Sean wasn't sure how to answer her question. He wasn't sure if he felt comfortable with her playing his guitar, he wasn't even comfortable with Tori playing his guitar, and she was now his girl friend. He thought about it, and since she sounded like she new what she was doing he would give her a chance. "Well, I don't usually let anyone play my guitar, I'm pretty protective of her, and she's the most expensive thing, next to my drums, that I've ever bought with my own money. So umm, please be careful," he told her. He waited for her to come up on the stage before he gave it to her.

people change and promises are broken clouds can move and skies will be wide open Jamie let out a laugh, she quietly sighed in relief that he hadn't made a big deal over what she had said. Jamie swept her side bangs out of her face and back to the side where they belonged. She uncrossed her legs, now that the awkward moment she had suffered was over, there was no need to be tense. Jamie took her left arm and bent it over her stomach, grabbing her right arm which was loosley hanging at her side.
Jamie knew Sean didn't feel exactly comfortable sharing his guitar, but she really knew that he a bit uncomfortable sharing his guitar when he started rambling, she let out a loose laugh. "Don't worry, I have a few guitars of my own, and they're all still in one piece." Jamie made her way up the stairs that led to the stage. In a moment, she was standing beside Sean and taking the guitar from his hands. She gripped it in her standing stance and arranged all of her fingers. "Oh!" She had just remembered something, she held the guitar carefully in one hand and sifted through her purse with the other. She pulled out a neckstrap. She attatched it to the guitar and wrapped it around her neck.
Jamie took a look at the sheet music and started playing it on the guitar, humming the words in her head. She looked over the notes, she noticed why Sean had been getting frustrated, there were various different notes that didn't play along well in the song. "Do you mind if I change a few things on here?" She fumbled through her purse again and pulled out a pencil of her own. She carried her life in her purse. Well, almost. TAGGED !
